Writer's Block: Change is good [Nov. 4th, 2009|10:02 pm]

[mood | annoyed]

If you could change one major thing about your life, whether a relationship, your job, your living situation, your school, etc., what would it be? Are you currently working toward a serious life transition?

Major life transition?
Already in the works. Not posting it here though since no one needs to have my life history inflicted on them.

'Nuff said.

If you could go back in time to another decade, which decade would you choose and why? Would you want to return or stay there? What if you could bring one other person with you?

Writer's Block: Would you talk to the dead? [Oct. 31st, 2009|08:44 am]

[mood | giggly]

Have you ever participated in a seance? If not, would you consider it? What spirit would you summon and what question would you ask them? Do you believe we can get messages from the dead?

View 656 Answers

Nope. Never did a seance. Why would dead folks want to talk to us anyway?
That's why they died in the first place...to *get away* from this shithole world.

Do you think your moods are controlled by your brain chemistry or that your brain chemistry dictates your moods? Do you believe people are born with particular emotional temperaments or that they are primarily shaped by environmental factors?

If you found out you only had six months left to live, what would you do with the rest of your life? Do you have a "bucket list"?

Heehee!
I would definitely set up a dictatorship of the proletariat that would start by hanging all the major corporate CEO's of the Banking & Finance industry, oil and auto industry.
Then I could install all the sensible folks of my own choosing that would implement a plan to clean up this stinking planet and stabilize the economy with gold based currency (again!)
A crash program to convert all energy sources to hydrogen, fusion, wind, renewable vegetable oil (switch grass & algae and solar power.
That would pretty much end most incentives for wars. Yay! :)
Oil is too valuable to piss away by burning it all.
Nuclear power plants will be shut down and dismantled. The employees will be shuttled to clean energy sources so they won't be just fired/laid off. (unless they are like Homer Simpson) :)

The existing government can be retained as a powerless figurehead but they will be limited in salary to less than $45,000 each and the penalty for influence peddling will be swift and severe. Hanging by neck from the yard arm, being shot repeatedly, keel hauled and then boiled in oil.
...And that's just to give us time to figure out ways to hurt them.

Once my dynasty is installed the people will all prosper and love their benevolent ruling class so much that rebellion would be out of the question.

Then again.............NAAAH...No one would go for it.

*runs off giggling*

A friend of mine and his whole family were all wiped out by a drunk driver at an intersection.
I'm not exactly a MADD member but I think DUI & vehicular homicides should get life in prison with no bail or any parole.
Strike one. You're out.

Someone had eaten breakfast and barfed all their milk & rice krispies in the toilet ,down over the sides and on the floor.

"So", thinks I," Guess I better wash my hands and get out"

nope.

They blew the rest of their cerial into the sink.

Needless to say I found another bathroom to use.

What is your favorite commercial from your childhood? Bonus points if you include a video of it.

Back in the dark depths of time..before there were Transformers there was
Robot Commando by Ideal Toys.

Wowsers!

Cool commercial even though it was a real hunk of garbage that was
blatantly misrepresented! Shame.
On Saturday mornings they hammered kids with this crap endlessly!
It took 8 'D' size batteries and broke down a lot.
It cost $19.95 in 1961 dollars (do the inflation)

Now it is a much sought after collector's item. Ironic...
