I would definitely set up a dictatorship of the proletariat that would start by hanging all the major corporate CEO's of the Banking & Finance industry, oil and auto industry.
Then I could install all the sensible folks of my own choosing that would implement a plan to clean up this stinking planet and stabilize the economy with gold based currency (again!)
A crash program to convert all energy sources to hydrogen, fusion, wind, renewable vegetable oil (switch grass & algae and solar power.
That would pretty much end most incentives for wars. Yay! :)
Oil is too valuable to piss away by burning it all.
Nuclear power plants will be shut down and dismantled. The employees will be shuttled to clean energy sources so they won't be just fired/laid off. (unless they are like Homer Simpson) :)

The existing government can be retained as a powerless figurehead but they will be limited in salary to less than $45,000 each and the penalty for influence peddling will be swift and severe. Hanging by neck from the yard arm, being shot repeatedly, keel hauled and then boiled in oil.
...And that's just to give us time to figure out ways to hurt them.

Once my dynasty is installed the people will all prosper and love their benevolent ruling class so much that rebellion would be out of the question.

Then again.............NAAAH...No one would go for it.

A friend of mine and his whole family were all wiped out by a drunk driver at an intersection.
I'm not exactly a MADD member but I think DUI & vehicular homicides should get life in prison with no bail or any parole.

On Saturday mornings they hammered kids with this crap endlessly!
It took 8 'D' size batteries and broke down a lot.
It cost $19.95 in 1961 dollars (do the inflation)

Today's Progress report

I got moved over to the Shelter,Thursday. Wednesday was hell as I
got delayed by my starter going into kaput mode on my car.
A furry and I got it changed out though and by then the day was over but I got
everyother thing done. Yay...
Not bad for a roof and 2 squares a day. Breakfast is a donut and milk. Blah.
Lunch and dinners are often donated from various non-profit places around town
so the food is actually pretty good. Amazing.
:)Hmm...Ok.
It's clean. No vermin. That's good. I was worried it would be a rougher place
but they throw out people that fuck up so I guess that works...
Looks like it's only running at 50% full due to lack of funds so this means I
get a whole bunk to myself and store stuff on the top. Not bad...
I'm working out of a local Library and Wendys when the library is closed.
So far so good.
I hope Dept of Geologic Survey people will hire me. They seemed interested when
I went over to drop off my hard copy application.
*paw fingers are crossed*
Gotta go back to job search mode again.

This lady learned an important lesson. (if she is lucky the college won't counter-sue and/or maybe the judge will throw the case out for frivolity. )
The ugly truth:
Colleges take your money and you get a sheepskin after 4 some odd years of work.
They REALLY aren't there to help you get a job once you leave. Nope.
In fact, unless you can show them you can bring in millions in federal/state grants they really don't give a shit.
If you hear otherwise it's either a lie or because the grad knew someone important.
Got a degree in business with IT. Awesome.
There's thousands of other folks out there with that same piece of paper.
You were expecting folks to be falling all over each other to hire *YOU*?
Doesn't happen.
We ARE in a recession right now and there are folks out there with PHD's that are pushing a broom.
So...
Here is your burger spatula unless you wanna be in the french fryin' legion today.
Better grab a mop too I think some kid threw up by table #6.
Oh yes, and do be sure not to pour water into the deep fryer, because after you get outta the hospital, you'll be fired. (they dont teach you that shit in College of Business) :)

well, it's official.
Wednesday I move to the homeless shelter.
It's got a roof and food for now.
Not my idea of fun but it will do till I can get better situation going.
My time online will be more abbreviated mostly as I will have to snarf wifi spots and I'll still be searching for work as usual.
